N- (changes to normal voice) What fiery steed? You’re walking. It’s hard to tell through the grime, but I’m pretty sure that thing behind you is a donkey, anyways. I can only stretch the truth so far.

Ránëv dropped the stiletto knife on the floor, calmly watching the little rivulets of crimson run down her arm and drop from the end of her delicate fingertips. The drops made perfect little circles upon the hardwood floor of her bedroom, perfect little tears. She clenched her jaw, though not from any kind of pain, and leaned back on her bed, careful not to get any of the scarlet on her perfect white quilt. Her jade green eyes she then turned to the ceiling which was decorated in a hundred little glow-in-the-dark stars all arranged to mirror the shapes of constellations.
